This is a story about an illusionist; the world's oldest illusionist. From what I hear and know he was the best. The best at everything he did. He was even better than David Copperfield, David Blaine, Lance Burton and Chris Angel put together. He always dressed himself in the most expensive clothes. He was tall, dark and handsome, the persona of a true man. He had the charm and elegance of any modern day car salesman or courtroom lawyer. He spoke with grace and with an extended vocabulary that would make the Webster dictionary embarrassed. His soft commanding baritone voice would penetrate your heart and melt every fiber in your being. Watching him perform was like watching the American bald eagle soar thru the air without effort. Sailing smoothly with the wind; cold, calculated and controlled in and at every movement. The ladies loved him; the men were amazed by him.

 As far as amazing skills well lets just say that he was so good that he could fool you just with a single thought. A simple thought that would paint a clear and pretty picture in your mind. Some men have said that no matter how good an illusionist he was that he could not fool them, but those same men have fallen to his subtle suggestions. Like I said he is the smoothest magician that ever existed. Did he have any faults? Well he had only one. As a young entertainer he was promised a bright future as long as he didn't let it all go to his head. But when you have been taught as well as he had been taught, it was easy to let pride step in and to boast that you were the greatest. A boast that would cost him his future and would spend the rest of his existence on earth seeking revenge for losing his God Given birth right.

 To this day he still roams the world looking for a willing audience. He has influenced the media and turns cold the hearts that once believed in the truth. He has said many things that have changed the world. The world has been fed lies, lies that have all come from the master of illusion. Of course he uses the same tricks that he has always used and he has showed a few select persons a few of his talents that they could deceive others along with him. He hates being alone, but he isolates the lonely and makes them his slaves. Those that do his biding fall under his devilish curse. And these men that fall into his trap and are under his spell would sell their birth right just as he did, they too will one day suffer his fate.

 Who are these people? These people are you and me. We have been lied to and we have believed the lie and made it our own. The lie is that we could do what ever we wanted. That it is ok to sleep with many partners. That it is ok to smoke and drink, that the love of money and the pursuit of it is all we were made to do. He has made us lie and betray our own kids. He has given us thoughts that have made us desensitized perversion. He has made it ok to lust after the flesh. He has made us believe that his way is the only way. Who is this Guy? And why does he do the things he has done to us?

 The truth is we have been deceived. No one likes to be lied to but he has lied to you. And you have accepted it; we all have. Most people won't admit it. They have been lied to so much that can’t tell the truth from the lie. You have given in to his subtle thoughts. These thoughts have been given to you from movies and TV, from music, and even from your parents. It’s all part of his master plan to deceive you. The truth is that this man is not a man at all. He was an angel; He was the leader of praise and worship in the holy of holies. Some people have always thought of the devil as an ugly red dark angel but he is not. But I believe that he was far from ugly. He was only ugly inside because of what he had done. He thought he was better that God. He thought he was better than the entity that created him. Because of his pride and arrogance he fell from heaven. I mentioned the devil does not want to be alone. He wants you to be with him. He wants you to burn in hell because of the sin that he merely suggests you to do. He wants you to be prideful, because the father of lies was also prideful before he fell. The devil hates God and he hates you to. He wants you to rebel against your maker like he did. He wants you to become so unholy that you too will burn with him for eternity.

 Today if you feel that you have bought into the devil’s thoughts and let his lies and suggestions rule your life then you need to get right. If you have sin in your life you need to get it out. See, God our father in heaven is holy and God cannot exist where there is sin. It’s like oil and water or night and day. One can't be where the other is. If you want God in your life you have to get the sin out. How do you get sin out of your life? God made a way … that way is Jesus. God sent Jesus his son to die for your sins. Jesus’ Blood was shed for you, to cover all your sins. He is the only way to be with God; the bridge between this world and heaven. The bible says that Jesus is the way, the truth and the life; no one goes to the Father but by Him. If you feel you have been deceived then pray this prayer and be sincere about it. Think of it like this you are talking to a friend and He is listening. It really doesn’t matter what you pray as long as you mean in from your heart. Below is a sample prayer for you to use if you wish to.

God
I come before you as I am
I have been deceived and I have sinned.
I ask you to forgive me.
I ask you to come in my life and be my Savior
I ask you to wash my heart and my mind clean.
I believe in Jesus and that He died for me so that I could live.
I thank you for your Son and for His blood that was shed to cover my sins.
And I right now, I turn my back on sin and I run to your open arms.
I Thank you and I receive your forgiveness and I now live my life for you.

 Right now there is a great celebration in heaven because of what you just prayed and have committed to. Now I have to warn you that the devil will come and try to tell you that you are not saved and that nothing has changed inside of you. Once again he is trying to deceive you, don’t let him steal away your salvation. I know you’re wondering what you do now. Well you need to start reading the Bible. The Bible is the very words of God. Study it! Read it daily! God wants you to spend time with him and reading the Bible is a great way to get to know Him. Also you need to set aside time to pray. Praying is talking to God. You don’t have to use any fancy words, just be yourself. Last but least, you need to find a church to attend. You need to surround yourself with other believers that you can help you grow spiritually and mature as a Christian.
